Description

Tindora
Seasonality: Year Round
Origin: USA

Tindora is a member of the cucumber family and is considered a “cousin” to melons and gourds. This tropical pinky-sized fruit is juicy, crunchy and sweeter than cucumbers. It is favored in Indian cuisine, where it’s used in curry, soup, stir-fries, pickles and chutney. Pair with ginger, garlic, chiles and coconut cream!

Fun Fact: Like cucumbers, tindora has cooling properties that can combat spicy flavors.
